LE CONTEXTE
Match des extrêmes ou presque, puisque Dijon - proche de la zone de relégation - se déplaçait dimanche à Pierre Mauroy avec une inquiétante défaite à Lorient (3-2), mercredi, encore dans le ventre. A l'autre bout du spectre, les Lillois, qui etameront une spirale de huit matchs en février avec une entrée en Coupe de France (face à... Dijon) et le face-à-face en Europa League contre l'AJAX Amsterdam le 18/25 février, ne veulent rien céder au PSG et - surtout - à Lyon dans la course aux premières places. A fortiori après le faux-pas parisien en Bretagne face à Lorient (3-2, encore).
LE MATCH
Les occasions sont lilloises si ce n’est quelques timides incursions bourguignonnes, dont une stoppée tardivement par Botman, logiquement averti en début de rencontre. Mais les frappes pleuvent sur les cages de Racioppi dans ce qui semble être une partie à sens unique : même privés de Burak Yilmaz, blessé, les Dogues sont concentrés, quoiqu’encore imprécis, à l’image de Soumaré (10’), Yazici (16’), Bamba (18’) qui ajustent patiemment la mire lilloise. On aura même cru à l’ouverture du score - et à son premier but - de Sven Botman, d’un puissant coup de boule sorti en corner au quart d’heure de jeu ! Mais la domination s’installant dans une plaisante routine, Yusuf Yazici décide d’accélérer ; à la 29ème minute, le magicien turc profite d’un dribble imprécis d’Ecuele Manga pour chiper un ballon dans la surface dijonnaise, effacer l’infortuné Racioppi d’un coup de rein et finalement marquer dans un but vide. Quand la classe se conjugue avec la rage de vaincre, ce Yusuf-là est juste inarrêtable, et les Lillois retournent aux vestiaires avec l’avantage.
Et c’est heureux, tant les occasions furent aussi rares que les tirs cadrés en seconde mi-temps - on peut même reconnaître aux Dijonnais une forme de révolte avec une possession plus neutre, et quelques offensives dangereuses. Sentant le vent se lever, Christophe Galtier a lancé Xeka, Renato, Weah et Djalo pour aider les Dogues à tenir le score. Coaching payant, puisque la mission est accomplie : sans briller, le LOSC empoche une nouvelle victoire à la maison. Et quand on termine cette 22eme journée en leader du championnat, on ne va pas faire la fine bouche.
L'HOMME
Pas vraiment homme du match mais - pourtant - un vrai come back attendu et scruté dans la perspective d'un mois de février infernal. Renato Sanches, déjà aperçu face à Rennes et Nîmes, continue son retour au top : entré pour dix minutes, le Portugais a pu continuer son travail de reprise en conditions réelles, et apporter un peu de sérénité à des Lillois chahutés. On aura besoin de lui !
LA STAT
Avec 48 points en 22 matchs de championnat, le LOSC écrit un peu plus son Histoire, puisqu'il faut remonter en 1949-1950 pour trouver une performance comparable à Lille ! Ces Dogues tutoient les sommets !
La suite
Dès mercredi (19h), les Dogues rechaussent les crampons pour un défi à Bordeaux, puis ce sera Nantes dimanche. Le rythme s'accélère et le marathon va prendre des allures de spint : rien qu'en février, les Lillois effectueront huit sorties dans trois compétitions différentes. La fin de saison sera intense !
